I was wandering if anyone was going to respond.I think these bikes are very important.In a little way they helped pave the way for how we live today.
when you see a bike being used for the military i think it says something about its quality, you don't really see modern bicycles being used in the military today

I don't know Upper Class White Trash,I kind like that fat tire army bike.
I wish my greedy Aunt would give up the photos my grandfather left me in his will, but that is another story. Anyway,, my Grandpappy's job during WWII was to help rescue downed planes. Often times he had to go to the location with a bicycle, or a kushman scooter. He took pics everyplace he went, and they are some great old black and white photos. I just wish I had them here to share with all of you!
