I found a ladies Columbia (Custom Deluxe?) for $40. Skip tooth drive, 26.2.125, horn tank, chainguard. Seems complete minus a couple of reflectors, looks all original.

Is this a screaming deal or what?

I have not called about it yet. I really don't need one more bike, but I would love to add it to the collection.

What year might it be if it is a skip tooth? The color is cream and burgandy if tha has any bearing on identifying the age.

Most likely a pre-war bike. Post-war models used 1/2" pitch chains, except Schwinn, they used 1" pitch chains all the way into the 50's. If it's a pre-war offering, it should have other tell-tale signs as well. Drop-outs will be "straigt" rather than "fish-hook" in style. Would probably have "adjuster screws" on the rear drop-outs as well, and like Tony said "pics." that always helps. Later & PEACE!!!!!
