The bike I did for the build off is continuing to evolve. I found an old monark springer fork that is very ratty. I painted it to match the rest of the bike, cleaned the chrome, except the springs (no hope there) I used a conduit connector for a shim (the fork was off a girls), put pivot plates on the outside because the new wheelset as wider, The wheels that I had painted black were really shot so I took these off another bike, They have aluminum rims and they match the crank but I think the black makes for a better looking bike.
Now I would like to fab a set of handle bars, and I have another hairpin seat that has bigger springs that I want to recover, I think a white and black snakeskin material would look good.
