anyone heard of a west point spirit of 76 muscle bike

guy i know has a really nice all original west point muscle bike. single speed coaster brake, so nothing fancy. but its complete and in nice shape.still has the original slick. he wants $60, but I've never heard of this bike. was it a rebadged department store bike? thanks

If it's like this one then it's a Huffy made or an AMF bike below that link for some Store name I don't know of. Most likely worth $50 - $200 depending on condition and not the price the first link has on theirs because that place has high prices on everything.

Back in 76 our local K-Mart had about 50 spirit of 76 bikes lined up. But what brand alludes me, I thought Free Spirit, but they also had Huffy. Who knows what else.

I don't know much about those... But hard to go wrong at that price if it has an official slick tire and everything else is original. Maybe he/she will take $50!!! Good luck

Yeah, like stated above. At $60, if it turned out to be junk, you'd still have $60+ in parts if sold, or some pieces to use in later builds
