Airman would be Spiegel, a catalog store like Montgomery Ward or JC Penney or Sears. Not sure who made their bikes for them, chain ring looks like Murray to me.

The rack looks older than my '39 Columbia..

I second the above;The Chain Ring says Murray..
Can you get a better shot of the Head-Badge or Rear Dropouts?

The paint looks like a Housepaint Redo, so the Serial might be buried but preserved with any luck..
I'd put it late 40's early 50's maybe? but thats a guess from someone less experienced.

Looks like an early Shelby or CWC, the Murray chain ring is a replacement. -Adam

I was told by another friend airflow or no nose? Said the rear rack was pretty rare! And yeah the drive terrain of yhe bike is not correct. ..Mismatched!
