Is one better than the other for a replica boardtracker? The Felt Abraham looks beefier but looking at websites and pictures of the Monark II I can't tell whether one is better than the other. Looks like the Felt may be harder to get also. Do they still make it? Opinions?

Yes there is a diferance and i beleve Felt is the heavyer one but not sure. There was some discusion on it a while back on
http://motorbicycling.com/ Maybe check it out see what you can find. There is a diferance in price to that should tell you the better one...............Curt

I run the felt forks and must say they are built way better. The draw-back it's only for 1 1/8 head tube.

If you want to see them on a boardtrack bike: youtube-wolfcreativecustoms

Maybe a bunch of RRB members ought to lobby for 'em to make one with a 1" Steer Tube. All in favor, say aye. You guys could start a Thread, get yourselves organized and see if we could do a group buy. Happens all the time in other hobbies.

You might want to try contacting Sportscarpat about this. I don't see them listed on his site yet but along with beefed up monark forks he is also making his own from scratch like on the Bonneville Flyer, they are much heavier duty and are made to accomodate wider tires...
