Hey for about $12 at one of the import (china) tool places , you can buy an electronic set of calipers. You can check sizes of anything in a second. A neck to see if its 22.3 or the 21 . Useful for lots of things . Which size of drill bit you need. Stick it on the bolt you want and then a drill, and you will know if its the right drill.

I bought one of those and I seem to use it everyday. It really comes in handy when you are trying to figure out what size seatpost you need too. those things can vary by a fraction of a mm.
