A bunch of new finds... some BMX.

My brother-in-law cleans out foreclosed homes in the Detroit area and he occasionally finds bikes and gives them to me.
If any of the BMX bikes are worth anything let know. The chrome Mongoose will go to my nephew once it gets some TLC. The bare aluminum frame may become a single speed MTB for myself.

That Trek is pretty sweet.

Those BMXs are all new Wally World bikes.

According to http://www.vintage-trek.com the above bike is a 1989 or 90. Thanks for the word on the BMX bikes. Looks like the black one will be giving up some parts to make the Chrome one ridable.

I bet your brother inlaw has a very busy job in Detroit these days

Unfortunately they are very busy. They own a small trucking company but, the foreclosure business seems to be the more lucrative right now. If things get much worse with my job at Chrysler I may end up working for them.

I could get $250 for that Trek easily around these parts.

If I were you I'd probably clean it up and give Ebay a try....nice road bikes like that bring some coin these days.
