Good work on the rear end. Those forks are modern Schwinn. Kinda a fat thick version of Schwinn blade forks.

I haven't had much time to work on my build but did manage to get the old dropouts cut off and the new ones tacked on. Also started to tack stuff up before I ran out of wire in my welder.

Forgot to take a pic of the dropouts tacked on . Don't have a lot of clearance but these tires are 2,325 I think the ones I am using are 2.125 so should get a little more clearance because the further back I go it gets closer. Might have to cut the tack welds loose and adjust them a little as I had to let air out of the tire to get it on.

It's about a 1 1/2" thick it has some forgiveness but don't totally collapse. Cut the pieces out for the seat

drilled some holes thru the brackets and seat base ran some bolts thru the seat

Then went about looking for something to use for a cover for the seat only thing I found was this brown fake leather that had enough for both parts. Got it covered and put on to see how it looked. I think it turned out okay did the best I could with the wrinkles around the corners.

Pretty much on hold till I can get some more wire for my welder so I can get everything finish welded.

Love the seat design and execution! Looks pretty wrinkle free to me.
