Do you agree that this a 1950-1960s Raleigh? It has been painted and has no head badge, the serial number is on the left top of the seat post. It's a middle weight frame with a stermy archer three speed...................

Are you sure it's a middleweight? Looks like it has EA3 rims. Did you check the year on the hub? Might be a Hercules if it was pre-1960.

It looks like a Raleigh Colt to me.I have a late "70's version of this same bike but its called a Raleigh Sport.There is also a 24" version
that has some kind of space themed name...but I don't remember what it was...P 8)
 
The Raleigh Colt did not have a curved down tube so far as I know.
 
By cracky...your right,mos6502...I didn't notice that before.Must be a "Sport",same as mine then...did you get a date off the rear hub?...P 8)
