    My problem is that's not the cable end ..... the cable is doing a closed loop from the shifter and the derailleur ... the two end of the cable are in a lead block at the derailleur closing the loop .... and at the shifter i need something to hold the cable on the lever ...

    from what i just saw during cleaning the derailleur .... I think it's a lead plug melted with the cable in it ...

    Hi ... i'm looking for a picture (or your comment) of a Cyclo shift lever from a 1953 ccm bike .. when i got the bike it has a big screw wedge in it to hold the cable but i'm trying to find what it look like new so i can find something with a more original look ....

    My dad gave me these three bike ... dont know what to do with it yet .... will see ... tell me what you think .. First one .... CCM 1953 (serial 19142 E) 3 speed with derailleur ... Bike Plate .... Chicoutimi is my home town. .. Second one ... CCM again ... 1957 (serial 6121 N) only...
