After deciding against putting a motor on my Son's X-53 we set out to build a bike that we could run through the wringers
I found an 80's era ten, and a mix match of parts later we have this.
Next comes the motor and then the fun happens.
I need some inspiration, thinking of ditching the fat tires for some skinnys. I found a free spirit with 26 inch wheels and a nice little 3 speed hub that I am grooving on.
Anyone here have some pictures of a barebones on skinny tires?
Dumb question
I picked up a 26 incher with a shimano 3 speed hub that I want to use and I want to lace it to a 26 inch MTB rim. Can I reuse the 26 inch (Schwinn) spokes on the MTB rim? The rims are different diameters by 1/2 to 3/4 inch.
