    1937 Schwinn Klunker

I wasn't going to enter this since It was so late, but here is my 3 day Klunker build. Originally I was going to do a Klunker with a nice paint/powder job, but my do it yourself powder place folded. These are the original parts I was going to use. Seeing all the other Klunker inspired me...

What Color Should I Paint/Powder This?

This is my current project and I am having a hard time deciding what color to go with. The final build won't have the chrome Torker forks on it. Other choices are chrome Schwinn BMX, painted Akisu BMX or prewar Schwinn bladed with truss rods. Leaning towards the prewar Schwinn forks. Might...

    Mongoose Commuter/MTB

Built this up from a chrome mongoose frame/fork and parts off various other bikes including a Schwinn Cimarron. Parts probably range from late 80s to late 90s. Check out the head tube on this thing. It is a big bike.

Only had a chance to ride it around in the parking lot so far, but the kickback hub seems to work pretty good. The place I got the hub from...

Thoughts / Opinions Appreciated on This Motorized Bike

Guy in my area is selling this bike. He said it was a Double Eagle made by Goodyear in the late 40s or early 50s. He said the motor turns over. I was wondering if the motor was the same era as the bike and/or if it was original to the bike. Do you think it would be difficult to find parts...

    Opinions of Water-Based Spray Paint

Just wondering if any of you guys have tried the water-based rattle can spray paint? I picked up some Aervoe brand rust proofing paint at the local discount store, but wasn't really impressed with it. It seems like there might be durability, issues with it and it takes a long time to dry...
