Thanx for the information Skip! I'll attempt to find a 6V 6W generator along with seeing if I can find some LED lights to swap out with. The 6v 3w generator I am using now is rather noisey....worse than the one I have on my Schwinn. Thanx again!

Don't think it was the primer, it was rustoleum primer (I've used it before with great results) but the atmospheric pressure may be the key....it had rained the night before so I held off painting until it dried up, but there very well could have been moisture in the air still. Never had bad...
