Anybody sniffing BO 19 in the air?

I haven’t joined the CABE yet. I probably need to just to get rid of the ads. The ads are painful.

    TRADITIONAL Raleigh-Up

Mine does not have a number. I wasn’t that lucky. There is a long YouTube tutorial on this. Some of the locks have the number stamped on the inside. I need to order a lock picking set.

    TRADITIONAL Raleigh-Up

So here is my next challenge. I want to order a new key for the locking fork. This will involve picking a lock and removing a screw in a really tight space. See the video. Maybe there is a low profile ratcheting screwdriver???

    TRADITIONAL It's SUPER ELLIOT!

I noticed that. Maybe it is Raleigh? I googled the history of super Elliot, but didn’t find anything about Raleigh.

That bolt idea is genius! Don’t give up on those chain stays. Personally I think they need to be corrected. Even if you use the string method to get the bike to track straight it would drive me nuts having them that far out of symmetry. I am confident you can figure out some sort of jig...

    TRADITIONAL 🅵🅾🅾🅻🅸🅶🅰🅽 - 1930s Elgin Oriole

I recently saw someone dimpling chain stays using a BMX headset as a tool. The four bolts allow you to really crank down. Might be worth looking into.

    TRADITIONAL Jumpy

I think those rear dropouts will work well with an internally geared hub. They should allow you to move the wheel back and forth to get the right chain tension. Usually there is a special washer to prevent the axle from spinning in the dropouts. You might have to get creative there. I...

    I need current

I’m following this thread out of curiosity. I have no experience here. However, maybe you could post a detailed video or pictures of what you have going on. My guess is you have a short somewhere.

    TRADITIONAL All American Varsity

I have rebuilt several Varsitys into new bikes. The varsity is high quality and under rated. Solid frames, amazing drive trains, hubs easily polish to a mirror shine.
