Several pieces of old steel from my stash

That Panther has been in the family for about 23 years now. The badge says E Z Speed, All our own hardware. It was a Schwinn that was sold through a hardware store originally.

hey guys. joey here the story is... i bought that bike from a friend who was moving. he had basically scrounged the parts and mocked it up. i rebuilt the mechanicals (and took the lame decals off) so it was roadworthy and it is as you see it. as far as the chainguard, all i know is its neat...

    Here we go again.........

The Alley Scrappers Bike Gang needed some way to carry the stuff we find dumpster diving, and we decided we needed a trike with a mini "truck" bed on the back. The bicycle gods were smiling upon us today. Here's the latest project, dubbed "The Barrio Speed Wagon."

    Miller headlight L.E.D. conversion.

While I was walking through the flashlight area of my local ACE hardware store, I found a 3 L.E.D. light that runs on 3 AAA batteries. It's made by Leviton (I think that's how it's spelled).........ANYWAY......it was made for under cabinet lighting in a house. It looked about the right size...

Correction: Miss VanDyne's green bike is an Electra, not Schwinn. Her pink cruiser is a schwinn. She is a second generation leather worker, and is going to hand tool the saddle for her flyer.

A few more of the Scrapper's rides.

This is Miss VanDyne on one of her late model Schwinn cruisers. We're building her Western Flyer currently. It's going to be the ladies version of Joey's bike.

The head light on Joey's bike........I believe it's an aftermarket driving light for a car. It's rigged up to a battery pack in the tank. I will look this Sunday and see if I can find a maker or model. The chain guard.........who knows. That bike was purchased as is from the guy who built...

Hey, sorry it took so long to answer. We're from Lawrence, Kansas.........home of the people who brought you Mario Chalmer's miracle 3-pointer. We may be kids..............but we like old stuff.....so you're o.k. with us too, Kota. I think that the term "hoodlum" might not be too far off from...

I sold it to him for exactly what I had in it. Now we have a new Scrapper. He didn't fit in too well on his Scalpel.

This is Joey Murder's Flyer. The big headlight does work. This is an '83 Schwinn Cruiser. It still has the 1983 air in the tires. I picked this one up for $100.00 last Friday. I owned it for about 15 minutes before it was resold to a friend. I bet it doesn't have 1 mile on it. It's that...
