1936 Schwinn frame with supposedly original fork.

After taking the mounting bolts off the fender seems to rest nicely in its natural position. The fender is bent just a little bit. The top mount appears to be drilled wrong and the fender and frame mount hole does not line up. Any ideas on a bracket or something to account for the difference...

Ill try spacers and moving the tire forward. I do agree that it looks like too much fender is crammed in there. I'm not about to go cutting fenders though... Thanks for the tips!

It's a utility closet and i never open it. I don't even have a key for it. If they come to fix something the door still opens fine with the bikes off the rack. Part of apartment living...

I wanted to share this since i just finished it an i love it! Everything was ~30. The hangers are from home depot and were about $5. Maybe this will spark some ideas for people! Hope this is forum appropriate.

Whats the best way to make a fender spacer? My rear fender is looks a little wacky. Oh, and i know its dirty... just got back from a ride out in lovely cold Minneapolis.

Agreed! The bike didnt have a badge when I bought it but I asked the guy about it and he threw that one in as a freebee. I'll be looking for something better.

Valuing the frame at 125 makes me very happy! I've valued the rest and im ahead of the game if i wanted to part it out. The year I think it's made adds an invaluable amount also (year my dad was born). Any other info on deluxe postwar headsets? The front end seems to like to lean to either side...

Is that correct? Any idea on value? I was told the frame and fork are original.
