    Board tracker project

You are right, but how do all the others cope with the 'wheel flopping'? maybe a little bend to the front would make allot of difference visual without having problems with steering... Also thinking about putting on some 'truss rods', but I don't know if it would look cool.

Like I said, I like to take small steps. I took the headlight, changed the white LED with a red one and used some red 'see-through' paper to make it a taillight. Also found a copper headlight for a ridicilous price and made it so it could fit batteries and a on/of switch at the back... Also...

    Board tracker project

Bought some brown tyres, I think they look great with the saddle. The tyres are more round'ish' than the previous, so I had to take the fenders off. Should I keep it this way? Now I will be looking for a big headlight and maybe two small red backlights...

    Board tracker project

yesterday I stumbled on a bike seat in a local discount-store... 5 euro for a fake leather springer seat. So I tried it on the bike, what do you guys think about it honestly? Thinking about maybe getting brown 'fat frank' tyres and perhaps losing the fenders after all.

Hey, thanks for the great comments! People in my city just call me nuts for riding this bike... :P I was just out, riding the bike on some pebblestone and it started ratling, apparently 2 spokes on the backwheel came loose. Also the back fender wobbles and I can't seem to get it tight... ...

Took my bike for a ride. I was a good ride, although I have to raise the seat just a little. The knees go higher than the seat and that hurt a little after a while :P Still not 100 percent satisfied about how it looks. If someone has ideas or hints, let me know please!

I really don't want that cream/brown look on my bike... Maybe just a dark brown or black seat and keep the grips.. I also found a great handle bar at a local bike shop for a few euro. It is sort of like a North road!

    Board tracker project

I spraypainted the fenders. I thought matt black would fit a rat rod bike... It is really starting to get the look I wanted... Next up is to get a new bikechain. I also found a great bike seat from 'Lepper' in brown to get some color on the bike. Also thinking about getting brown leather...

    Hello from Belgium

Hi, I guess it would be polite to introduce myself to... I already started a topic in the build section 'Board tracker project'. I am 25 years old and life in Antwerp. I had an old 'path racer' called 'supersport' which I drove to work everyday. Unfortunaly the bike is stolen...(believe me, I...

    Board tracker project

Thanks everyone for the comments! Took advantage of a free day at work for adjusting the heigt of the fork. It took half the day, but I've managed to get it lower :) Also, I got a free handle bar from a friend. I think it looks great and because it is not to wide, I can actually take short...

Thanks for the hints. The seatpost is already adjusted! Tomorrow I'll be looking for the Northroad flipped bars and I'm going to try to get the stem lower.. Do you guys think I should lose the fenders, or should I just spray paint them black. Only... It rains alot in the Netherlands... :P

    Board tracker project

Hi guys! First of all, excuse me for my English. My previous bicycle (which is stolen) looked somewhat like a 'path racer'. I really loved riding it through the city! I bought a second hand bike in my neighbourhood and I was wondering if I could make it into a Board Tracker-style bike. I plan...
