There are remnants of old dumps , cabins etc up here , when people move away they hardly take all their junk with them . I spend my free time pretty much just taking junk I pick up and trying to do something with it .

Well , I found 4 bikes this week ! These are the latest This one is a "Universal" Made in Poland and I usually don't bother with mountain bikes , but this one will make some hipster happy when I turn it into a fixie . These were both in the scrap metal pile

Here in a small Alaska town I don't have access to all the cool vintage stuff that I like , so while I'm searching i grab stuff like this from the dump and make something . This is a another quick , simple huffy build , but it's fun anyway ... I'll post a good finished pic within a few days...

Junk Pile that I picked up Tabs from brake and shift cables cut off , Torn down and primed First a white coat Then some orange metal spec that looks great in the sun Cleaned up some rims from the dump rear coaster brake hub , some fresh white walls , and a white powder coated crank set...
