Picked up a 77' Varsity for $10. It was in the rafters for 20 years. I changed the neck, bars and the seat. The front wheel was really rusty to the point that the chrome was peeling. Luckly I had a match from another bike that I got for free. I plan on some white walls and fenders and just ride...

You need some big trible hooks. I love the head badge and the seat. I might have an old metal minnow bucket for you too!

I checked them out and that look like a relly good start. I could have searched but it nice to have feed back from others rather then a seach engine.

Where do you get most of your parts for builds? I am in Minneapolis and I wouild like to deal with a LBS but I have not found one that I like yet. Are you mostly using an online auction or other online sources?

Hello I am from Minneapolis and it is refreshing to see so many nice rides. I have been away from bikes to long since driving and cars took over. Ten years later I am getting back into riding and building some bikes that I have collected. Mostly freebies! I can blame the Bikers Builders Bonaza...
