Hey lads and lass's. I just scored another dumpster dive special. Its an old Raleigh Superbe. Lots of rust but the cranks still work. Can anyone tell me how to identify the year on this bike? Thanks

Finally got a chance to look at this bike again (been working too much) The left crank was worn out and was easily replaced at my LBS. Now if I could just find the time to get out for a ride. Thanks for the help.

Great advice on here. My only input is the younger the better. My 3 yr old pushes on a skateboard, rides with 2 wheels and ain't so bad on the quad he has but needs to remember the brakes :lol:

I can't compare it to the old one (too new) but I was impressed by it. I belong to a few forums that do newletters and your layout was easy on the eyes compared to some.
