offset gear for Nexus 7 speed ?

The 3 speed with an offset is on my Dyno with a Felt 65mm rim and a fatbrick, it needs the offset gear for chain clearance. I could "borrow" it for setup, but will need too buy another one. Overnight, chaingang cycles refunded my payment and sent an email saying they ONLY ship to CAn and US...

offset gear for Nexus 7 speed ?

Guess I should have bought them when I bought the rims ...... another delay on lacing my wheels up. If I have to use a Nexus 3 speed instead, I can live with that. The 26 x 2.5 is a big rim .......not sure my quickbricks are going to stretch that far. I was dissapointed that the 24 x 3 has a...

offset gear for Nexus 7 speed ?

Anyone know where I can get an offset gear for a Nexus 7 speed hub? I want to lace it into a US choppers 80mm rim, but need to move the gear out so the chain will clear the tire. One of my other bikes has a Nexus 3 speed with an offset gear, the wheels came of a Felt. Anyone know where to get...

    Good online/Ebay springer fork sellers?

I haven't bought either set, but noticed on the spooky tooth web site that they say: and I also noted that the ebay seller is...... CrossbowUSA.... SO ......are both of these springers the same product ??

Western Flyer Trophy bike, my first real rat.

Nice Roadster, I like the way it sits. How much is the chassis kicked in the rear? One of the projects I have stashed away for later is a 27 Roadster. I want to do it on an A chassis, as a 1950's speedway style car. Banger or flathead. F-100 side steer. Wires with Firestone Dirttrackers etc...

PA Ride & Rockabilly June 14th PICS!

Re: PA Ride and Rockabilly Sounds awesome. If there wasn't a big puddle, some mountains, and a heap of other stuff between here and there, I'd be there  Only thing I like better than bikes, is Rock-a-Billy ...... and beer.

Western Flyer Trophy bike, my first real rat.

Cool bike BUT....... Whats the story with the T Coupe ...... yours? That NEEDS to get inside out of the weather, stuck on an A chassis and built up. LOVE tall coupes

    KONA 88 BoardTracker

Bar are very big. 26" side to side. 8" rise. 14" from goosneck back. Frame is a normal sized 26". 19" tall seat post, 26" from headstock to seatpost. About the same size as most 26" mountain bikes. Bit shorter overall than my Dyno's

    KONA 88 BoardTracker

Not very "Rat", but given the shortage of cool frames in Australia we have to work with what we have. I have been checking out the KONA EightyEight at my not so local bike store for a while, and when the price dropped to something I could sort of justify, I grabbed one. Of course I couldn't...

Wouldn't even make a nice Rat  It would be cool fun doing Rat job on one and then parking it infront of their shop, and watching it draw a bigger crowd 8)

    Dyno Glide cruiser-Worth getting?

$20 ......you guys are SO lucky over there. I have 3 DYNO's here, and don't want to add up what they owe me. They are my favorite frame.....just love the double sweep on the rear legs. The 24 x 3 fits easily on two of mine, and went on my old Taboo Tiki (now Hewey's). If you can still...

tires - 1955 Schwinn Spitfire and 1952 seers SportCrest

Looks like it's a middleweight.....3 fingers just fit, but squashed up a bit. It basically has the same width at the fender as the new Schwinn Corvette we have, and WAY narrower than the Dyno balloon tyre bikes that take a 24 x 3 Fireball.

tires - 1955 Schwinn Spitfire and 1952 seers SportCrest

Thanks B607. Ballooner vs Middleweight is what I'm trying to work out I guess. The Spitfire model seems to have started out as a ballooner and then as new models got released it moved down the model "ranking" and became a "price conscious" middleweight. My one has the serial number P77915...
