I was going to do the front first, with plans on doing the rear if the front works out fine. When I do the rear, I am planning on welding on tabs instead of using any kind of adaptor. -Chris

If you add time into it, then yes, it would be smarter to buy it. However, with this being a hobby, time isn't something I worry about. I prefer to make components that I can, just adds to the personal touch. -Chris

Either one would work. I am going to try and make one myself. I know the pattern of my disc setup and the thread on the freewheel, I just need to know the thickness/width of the adapter. Thank you. -Chris
