Hi all, I've been doing the preliminary restoration work on my bicycle and recently came accross the serial number. I'd previously identified it (at least I think I did!) as a 41 comet, but I'm curious what the serial number would bring me. The number is 34508 and above is something I think...

I'd have to agree, it's definitely postwar. Lack of any substantial fender or fancy chainguard points that out. Post-war comet maybe?
