Got the smaller 1/2" axles welded on, now to figure out how to make it steer.

I kinda like the rails as they are.

i think rails are fine : asis.:cool2:

Overall I think I agree, the brown blends in. I had put the back wheel on that is now orange an as I was gazing at the side view the orange rails came to mind. Less work to leave them as they are for sure.

Roughed out headers today. I need to shape corners and paint the blocks. Drilled 7/8" Dia holes to fit 3/4" copper. Using 3/4" x 45 degree ells and 3" long extensions.

Pipes up :113:
Unless you're adding pedals, then the engine may not work.
Self contained, using a "TackleBox12" with duel carbs and backup handle.
+1 on the pipes up!
Pipes probably do look better up. When setting outside they will flood the engine though unless I add drainage holes.

I put the undercarriage donor wagon back together with Wagonator pans undercarriage and wheels. I had to make a new bearing bushing for one wheel.

Am I the only one who likes the pipes down?
Ahh, another viewpoint, down was my original thought. Thanks Luke.

I think you ought to make them into a header.
Rats run pipes with cutouts to open headers...
Just sayin'... I like down too.

Carl.
That would work pretty slick but dang that copper is expensive and would need to get bigger as it heads backward. That would justify down though.
Thanks for the idea Carl.

daggum after looking at the competition i realized i have to up my game alot well slow progress between this and 3 other projects but ehre is my current progress
decided to drop the seat and steering wheel and go a different route i see all kinds of wagons lowered and hot rodded but what i do not see alot of and none that i know of in thsi buildoff is an off road wagon lifted camo paintjob( gorilla taped explanation later on) and maybe big tires i have a wheelset picked out in case i cannot get my off road wheels and i will use them for now so anyways here is my current progress first being i painted t but it looks horrible so painting this is not an option as you can see there is 2 rows of axle holes on these runners(or whatever their called ) so i am going to simply slide them in the bottom( r upper in this case) holes to make it higher

ugh these runners are rough bent and ugly definitely going to have to do some work on these i had to file down the notches to remove the axles but thats ok i am going to be usin a different method to mount the wheels

these ugly flipped tricycles are now in my junk pile tired of looking at them so the spoked wheels are an option for wheels choice b
