Nice progress Luke! Love how it's so sturdy looking from some angles but from the side it looks like the frame is kind of slender. Really nice looking design.

That's got a lottof muscle, for sure.....I get this vision of...like a monster bike...or a Munster bike...or a hearse of some sort...
thats it...black...a hearse..with some hood around of over it...

No plans to sell this one, but then again, I have never planned to sell any of them, so who knows what will happen when I have had my fun riding it and have run out of room again...Luke.

Luke I'd b interested in total weld bead length when done... That macro was great... What would you guess it end up being... It can be fun to figure out, I chopped a 56 Belair convertible by sticking the stock glass into the cowl area and stretched the dash 6 inches... Window frame and dash was a little over 120 ft of weld... Was kind of shocking...

Jut in frame split you have I think 8 rounds the length of the tube already... I'd believe it.

The bike fits, but even with the screens and fire, the weather has been too cold, windy and wet...
I doubt I would have anything done on this build yet without the new set-up...

A decent day today at last and my health came good in the late afternoon, so some progress was made!
Finished off all the current welding and added in the backing sheets for the side panels, then spent about 3 hours on the grinder with flap discs getting everything sanded to the 90% finish point.
I say 90% because there are a couple of places I will have to go back and run a little more weld and hit it with the sander again, mainly where I had little gaps to fill while welding, this is the worst one:
The consumable count for today:
That puts the build to about 85% to the rideable mark I think, so pretty close to where I should be on my schedule, hoping to have it riding by November 1st so I can have enough time for paint, upholstery and pics.

Did a rough count today and it is about 12 meters at the moment, so nearly 40 feet of weld length, not a real lot of welding to go, so I would say 50 feet will see it done.
It is a smaller trike than it looks!
