new frame for old build idea

a long time ago I started on building a "power wagon." Schwinn cantilever frame using mtb parts to build what a late 40's mountain bike might have looked like. inspired by the dodge power wagon of the 1940's. it never really got going, with family and work and other things getting in the way. now I have another frame and a mid 90's huffy mountain bike I might use for the donor. but the huffy is in near mint condition and I'm not so sure I want to part it out for a build. any ideas?

I say build on the canti frame. Keep the huffy frame, and you can always put it back together if ya wanna.

A mid-90s Huffy is a safe bet as far as parting-out goes.... you won't break too many hearts on that one....

Yep. Huffy and Murray were the last of the old-timey large-scale USA bike manufacturers. They show up at the co-op alllllllllll the time.

most of my first bikes were usa huffy's. I kinda have a thing for them. growing up, a kid down the street had a murray. not only could my huffy out run it, but it also lasted longer.

I have a "thing" for USA-made Huffy bikes too, but they ain't worth much and you can find them for free/cheap anytime you want, these days. (That will probably change in a few years, though...a lot of'm go to scrap.)
