I'm Chris from the Philippines. I'm a big fan of ratrodbikes! And I just want to share my own bike. :D
It's basically my second bike... I got the frame and the front hub from a local antique shop. It has a badge that says The Mister Cycle (Anybody who's familiar with it?)
I just noticed the size of the frame when I got home and fitted my fenders, it was a size 28! Geez, was shocked but amazed! hehe. It's not everyday you get to come
across something like this. So just went on to find more parts and get along with building the rest of the bike. So here it is. Named it Mighty Whitey.

Here's my sacred handlepost, was given by a buddy of mine. He says it came from his old mountain bike, way back in the '70's
Everyone seems to notice it. Very proud to be the next owner.. Hasn't seen one like it, maybe here in our town or the whole island!

Got another one from a bike shop, but it's steel... not like my cherished alloy slingshot

Lucky to get one of these... :p

Very Righteous Build!

Love all the details and the rider friendly Nexus out back.

Way to go!

Nice build.I like the front fender orniment.
Thanks! Got the front fender ornament at a local antique shop. Was surprised that it was stainless steel, so it's anti-rust :)
It's japanese made, kinda liked the design so I just bought it

NICE!....Real nice.

Whoa nelly...that's a serious ride right there.

Don't have a clue of the origin, but you've pulled it together nicely.

wow! that`s the same stem i`m using on my spaceracer.except mine bolts from underneath. :D used to live in manila, from `64-`66. my father was a petrochem engineer.built an oil refinery on bataan island.

Great bike! The mountain bike stem and front hub are great but I especially like the chainguard. Everything looks right at home.

Thanks man. Had many sleepless nights while waiting to finally finishing this hehe :D
I hope someone out there might be able to help me trace the origin of this frame.. Mister Cycle.

NIce bike!
I'm from Manila (Paranaque). But I live in the states now. I'm suprised at how big of a RatRod following there is over there in the Philippines.

Hey bro! Fellow pinoy? I know only a few who are familiar with RatRod. Most cruisers are either bought at some specialty shops or you can chance upon them at japanese surplus shops. Bikes are quite in
a boom right now, specially here in Malabon City. We've held 2 bike shows already. Will post some of the pics from the show a bit later. :)
