my first build

this was my fist attempt at a build... it's an old murray frame that i pulled out of the trash. i added the springer and the handlebars then fabbed the suicide shifter braking system and the chopper style tail light license plate thing and painted rattle can black.

what do you think?

That's the idea! Use whats laying around or thrown out to make a custom bike.

I wish I still had the first bike I built, but the urge to redo things and use the wheels for other bikes is great.

love it, the shifter is sweet how did you make it

it's an aluminum rod that i tapped and attached the brass knuckles to. then i welded it to a regular hand brake and mounted that to the frame and added the guide bracket for stability. it works pretty good too.
