something I never thought of...
...apparently 50 year old tires don't grab the road as good as they once did. I found this out today while on a bike ride with my 10 year old daughter. I was cruising down a good size hill on the Meteor Flite with a turn at the bottom and BLAMMO, turned handlebars and tire slides and I go flying!!! She thought I was dead!! It's been about 2 hours and I'm gettin sorer and sorer! AfterI hit 40 yrs. old those little bike wrecks hurt like heck!! BEWARE!

ouch.......I think it hurts the kids more to see Dad all smashed up.It give's em a real scare......my kids are used to it now.
