As promised, here is the first cruiser that I put together over the past couple of weeks.
It is a Huffy Cranbrook that I picked up from a yard sale for $25.
Two cans of rattlecan paint ($8).
The seat was reupholstered with some scrap vinyl from a different project ($0).
The handlebars came off of an old trike behind my dad's barn($0).
The headlight/taillight are from a 50's era Oliver tractor. I wired them up to Maglite LED conversion kits with some cheap flashlight reflectors ($10). I have an "on\off" switch under the seat ($0).
I added a Kydex "tank" with the P-40 Tigershark design held on with backpack webbing ($0). I might make another one with a pin-up painted on the side.
To finish it off, I added some custom leather grips ($0).

It is about time to cut that wheat. Enjoy!

really sick bike......i love the flat green paint.......awesome work on the tank.........amazing flow to the whole bike......i like this one.......

Thanks everyone. I am already doing some changes.
I had 15 inch bars on it. Now it has 20's.
I made another tank and I am having a pin-up painted on it. So, it went from a fighter to a bomber, I guess.
And I am going to run that wire from the lights a little better.

Pics coming soon.

Tony
