Chopped Cantilever

Unknown frame. Looked to be a Schwinn but I couldn't find a serial # anywhere. This one was chopped and lowered a bit. The cantilever tubes were cut loose where they attached at the top and down tube. The seat tube was then pulled back as far as the fender mount. Then welded everyting back. The cantilever tubes now protruding past the down tube were cut off. Installed shorter crank so it wouldn't scrape.

I saw those on your website and think cool and easy. I have a rat I think I will try that on. Cool bikes.
 
very cool looking i have seen them before as well and am very impressed. ever thought of bending the seatpost tube to follow the tire like elgin frames? i might just have to try that as well hope ya don't mind
 
I wish i had a welder i would so try this on my buildoff bike.
