The hole for the light switch.

A sneak peek put some parts together not sure about the bars flipped may use a different set may turn them up right. I will have to play around with it a bit but I like the rack , and yes it's winter here kinda. It's 50 degrees in the morning & almost 80 by noon . I wished it was a little cooler.

Looking good. Great job matching the fork and tank to the frame. For some reason, maybe it's the drop stem, I'm seeing drag bars with a slight pull back on it, but that's just me.
As far as your weather delima is concerned I hear you, I'm in west Texas 30s at night 70s during the day. I envy these people that live places where they have actual seasons.

Yes I like the sessions too. I grew up in Vermont we had 4 distinct sessions it was really nice , then moved to Alaska 2 sessions short summer & long winter , now in Florida 1 session hot & every once in awhile it get cool for a day or 2 but you can ride your bike all year if you can stand the heat .

Another afternoon in the garage and I have a rider . Not finished some fine tuning. This is not the seat I want to use & still need to weld up a lay back 7 post . Also need to paint the rack . But over all it looks pretty cool I think .

Looking good so far, man I really have to get back to work on rebels cause.

Those are cool.

Thanks bro they were like 3.50$ each shipped all the way form China . I think the lights are the only thing on this old rat racer that weren't made in USA [emoji631]

Cool, I was just looking for them on eBay. Do you think three could fit on that rack?
Have a Higgins project this spring, not sure if I'll keep the rack yet; but just in case.

So I thought I would pull a few more parts out . I couldn't resist to see what this heavy metal Black Diamond Deluxe might look like . So far so good just hope I can make them all work together.
The bars are kinda wild on here they came off a old beach cruiser parts bike . What do you think?

Also finished the painting the fork . I'm pretty happy with the color match . iIts almost perfect , it matched the the nature aged frame great . I put the rockers back on o got from A.S Bolt & nut . I decided to flip them after talking to the R-Man it will push the front wheel out a couple more inches . For a long & better look .

That looks cool but arent the outer braces supposed to connect to the fork while the spring braces provide the spring cushioned travel. To me it looks like the outer more forward braces would bend the first time you put weight on it. I did something similar adding truss rods to a rat trap but connected them to the pivot point instead. Hate to see you ruin them

Thanks I will have to give that a try . This is a little bit trial & hopefully not to much error .
