I'm trying to identify this bike frame. Any help would be appreciated.
Aside from the dropouts, it is very close to the mystery 3-bar frames from the emory warehouse sold by thedude here on this site a couple years back. The origin of those frames wasn't determined either, but they were very close to the TBS Islander frames. I'm thinking it is a late 80s/early 90s frame made by the same Taiwan company that made the Islander.
This frame was for sale on BMXMuseum back in 2013...but, as far as I know, it was unidentified there, either...
What is on the head tube of the one you have pictured?
Thanks Jason. Here is another picture. What did they sell for and any idea of the value now? Thanks Randall
Not sure what it is, but I can tell you the forks are on backwards.
That looks like a Diamondback logo. Probably mid to late 90s.
This is the thread where the unknown three bar looptails were sold...
They are probably more desirable/valuable due to the rear facing dropouts (more vintagey).
The one on bmxmuseum had an asking price of $130.
If I saw it on CL...I would be thinking sub-$100.
Thanks Rusty and Luke. It looks similar to your link except for the rear drop out. Ya forks are on backwards and wrong. The first picture look like it. I'm just interested in the frame. Looks like it would make a nice klunker. Thanks again. Randall
