Ohhhh.... Are you dealing with a Jamis dealer? It always seemed to me that it's basically a dirtjump bike, but with full suspension; I think the idea was making a bombproof do-it-all bike for 4x, slopestyle, dirt jumps, whatever.... but i don't think the term really caught on, except for a few dealers that tried to make it happen. If i recall, some were hardtails, most were FS. Most were 26"; some rolled on 24s...
Jamis once sold a bike called the "Parker"... scroll down to page 45.

I've never been to the Louisville Mega Cavern, but DANG.

I kinda wanna go. Looking at the pictures of the bike park, i'd say you want a
dirt jump bike; I think I'd wanna hit that mega-cavern with a DJ hardtail with a short-travel (100mm) bombproof fork with a 20mm thru-axle, like the RockShox Argyle (do they still make that? Yep:
https://www.sram.com/rockshox/family/argyle ); I like a SS for that kind of set-up, but one-by setups with a shortcage rear derailer seem to be more popular; most DJ frames will have the rear set-up for either option, and some kinda of chainguide set-up at the BB shell....
All that being said, riders have been enjoying dirt jumps on bmx bikes since the dawn of the sport... a 24" cruiser could definitely save you some coin.
But, I have to admit, I think something like this is super hott:

PS- I see that, on the blkmrkt page, they still refer to some of their models as "park bikes", so maybe the term lingers on... I don't really run with that kind of crowd anymore.... I just recall kids who wanted some of the Jamis and Eastern bikes BITD being really resistant to calling them "park bikes".....
