Hi folx,

this ride right here I already had for a while. I got the frame and fork from ebay a long time ago.
It's a 1949 Goericke 100ccm motorbike frame. I don't know what bike the forks belong to - but they fit just fine.
Anyway - I had htis stuff laying around and it was about time to get this bike rolling. It just took half an hour surfing rotrodbikes.com to make sure: that's the look I was looking for - Boardtrack-Racer-Style.
It just took me and a friend about an hour to find the parts in my garage and put the bike together.

Here are the pics:

Well I got a lot of ideas in mind for that ride. Stay tuned!

Man that rear rim and tire would look killer on my spitfire. Nice bike.

This bike is the coolest of the cool!

Am I correct in thinking that Felt Thick Brick and Quick Brick tires grow on trees over in Europe?

Every bike I see from that side of the pond is sporting Felt tires.

Why are they so hard to get here in the states???

well in germany we haven´t any problems to get the black thick or quick bricks. but it´s nearly impossible to find new quick/thick bricks in creme, whitewall or brown.....

whery strange that in the USA you´ve got problems to find the black qui/thick bricks......... as far as i know the felt tires are importet from USA to germany ^^

Thanks a lot guys.

Yeah black thick bricks are quite common over here. Plus I like them so much, because they are the only tires with a rather classic thread. There are a lot of 24x3.0 tires out there - but most of them have that modern look that won't fit a classic racer theme.

On the other hand: we can't get those classic white or red 26x2.125' tires over here and I would kill for a set of these.

Cheers from over the pond.

That thing is awesome! So awesome, in fact, that it will receive my highest honor, the Super-Shock-Icon. Amazing lines!
