Hi Guys,

Here is my 2004 Electra Rat Rod. It was in quite a bad state when I got it, so I stripped back the paint and left it to the rigors of the Aussie weather for a few weeks. Once I had a nice level of patina I sealed it with a matt clear lacquer.

Love the rust , wheels , seat , barbed wire , pin stripe , its all cool. Great job.

Awesome bike... I always like the idea of having green wheels ... This works perfect with the rust-color...

Yes Rockit! they are plywood grips, I made them on my drill press using a 22mm hole saw for the handlebar diameter and then a 35mm hole saw for the outer cut. I have added some images below of the process.

Thanks Donzi for the compliments on the coin, I've added a photo of the left hand grip as it has the other side of our $1 coin.
