Frame ID help

Sorry I cant seem to get my photo size small enough to post one. Got a frame with no badge. by some interweb looking I found a Huffman bike that looks like it. Serial #48821 with HBW under it. Huffman bicycle works????. Rear facing dropouts....

Sounds like a pre-war Huffman-built Western Flyer. Any chance there's a phantom outline where the badge was once attached? A badge from that era would have likely been shaped like this:

I think I heard that same number before.

So, might it be a 1940's Huffman.

I believe that the frame style preceded the safety/fits-sooner style frame from about 1949-1959, which may have also sported 26 x 1.75" middleweight tires.

phil Fink..... Its the same bike. Did not know Kenny had posted it. Did a trade with him..

He was having a hard time with the fork so I'm just going to cut it off due to it being bent and I got a springer from a fellow RRB member that will go on it.
