Hiho guys and gals,....
today i'll enter the competition.... allthough i know i have no chance to win...
... i started of with a concept i had done a few weeks ago...
IDEA: (around march)
START: (end of april)
...so i went on the search for a frame which would give me the steel and enough bends of the angles i need ...
and so i went with a Velor Chopper (a german trademark for cheapest chinese Switchblade copys)
...had some wheels build for a different project which went terribly wrong (the wheels don't fit in the back...and you don't bend brand new 29" MTB-Frames ) ... so the wheels where waiting in the basement
...then i made the design for a double springer fork...but ended up using an old double crown fork from china
PRODUCTION PROCESS: 05/05/2013
sooo all the parts went together...
....
put in some cranks and some chain...and off i went to the office for a testride... Cranks to long (but i could drive 2mm under the pedal can be enough) and no brakes
05/11/2013
...yesterday i welded a fork using the old double crown fork...
...and ran down to my basement to put "something" together...the wheels allthough i LOVE them where changed for some 26" by 3" rims with 3" tires including a BRAKE and some gears (Shimano Nexus 7)
