Has it really been 6 months since I scored anything of note? Wowsers. Got a 26" Continental CrossKing for the Brodie, and a seatpost at the Habitat for Humanity, but that ain't worth taking pictures of. Well, tadaaaa, today I found a cute little Cionlli riveted saddle at the Value Village. Plastic shell, but the rails are in perfect shape and it feels like real leather

It'll probably be good enough for the Norco (for now), but it's pretty narrow, the type of saddle that encourages you to stand up to pedal.

This is a sentimental one. I've been cleaning out Papa D's shop, I grabbed a pile of cool looking stuff that was too cool to toss or put in the Donate pile

gonna give this little guy a gentle cleaning and maybe a drop of oil. You'll see it again at work in the back yard on sunny days

I filled a bucket full of woodworking tools, some are pretty old looking, I might have started a collection by accident

This scribe was what got me started, the wood and antique brass fittings are just nice to touch

Then I started looking at things a little closer, one of these saws is made in Sheffield, England

and while I was looking at that instead of the bucket, UncleDick went ahead and filled the rest of it for me!

No idea what I'm going to do with this stuff. A couple of things, I don't even know what they are

Very cool. The bottom photo second from the right is a tool that comes included with Schlage with commercial lock sets. There is an old post where I ground down two them to make a tool to remove the non drive side slotted cone on a one piece bottom bracket.

Haha I'm halfway there. I am hoping someone can identify the thing beside it (perhaps a knife sharpener) and the thing in the second last picture under the brass plumb weight, looks like a pair of thumb cuffs. I forgot to take closer pictures before my phone died

I cropped it and did a Google image search of just that item. It is 100% a surveyors measuring tape holder clamp.

Well this was a surprise, I have not seen one of these since I was a kid, back in the 1970s, when my older brother had one for when we were making Airfix plastic models.
