picked up this old bike today original paint some decals are still their nice straight old bike was told it was 1944 going by the morrow hub i have no idea what the model is the whole bike looks solid even the lobdell wood rims seem to be true

That A S & CO chainring is probably worth twice what you paid for the bike. Schwinn did make lightweight bikes during the war even though the factory was making mostly war materials. I didn't know they made wooden rims in 1944 though. Hmmm....? Gary
