I have an old Springer fork that I picked up some time ago, I figured that I would search the internet and find out the manufacturer and narrow down the year(s). But, I have found NOTHING! It appears to be prewar, judging by the absolute inefficient spring mechanism that allows about 3/8" of wheel travel.

I got my answer from the cabe. It is a Monark "pencil spring" fork. From the late 30's. Someone said it was a 1939 only piece. Cool.

I wouldn't be proper, but this may end up on my curved bar Elgin frame.

If it looks good, then it's proper!!!!!
Hawthorne springers didn't come on Spaceliners!
Evanaction forks didn't come on Elgin Twin frames! ;)
GO FOR IT!!!
