Where can I get Rivnuts?

Anyone know? I'm working on mounting my shifter, and I need to mount a Rivnut in the side of the frame, but I'm just not sure where to find them - Looked at Home Depot, Osh, AutoZone, etc., and they don't have them.

Any ideas?

Pretty sure Dorman makes them. I work @ Advance Auto and think I remember seeing them in the Dorman catalog.

Check with Fastenal, they seem to have everything so it would surprise me if they dont.

Memory Lane bike suppliers sells them by the hundred. Make sure you buy stainless so they don't rust later. Gary

Nutserts...Marson has a kit with the rivet gun and variety of inserts, either SAE or metric. You can get the same kit off a Snap-on truck if more convenient although you pay a premium for the Blue Point labeling.
