When was my old Apple Krate made?

Hello.

I have dug out my old Apple Krate I used to ride to elementary school in North Hollywood CA in 1972.
I do not have pictures but it has the serial number DE64791 on the left rear axle mount.
Has been stored for 38 years in a shed and has all original parts.
I am not interested in restoring it, so I am trying to first date it.
I will get some pictures and maybe somebody will have an idea of it's worth.
