After picking red, white and blue as a paint scheme I realized that the bike turned out not looking very ratty. So I decided to play around with trying to make a "new" spray paint job look old and sun faded. Im pretty happy with how it turned out after only my first try. Last weekend I sanded down the blue and layered a coat of black. I then put on a coat of red then splotched a little yellow, some more red and then a final coat of semi gloss black. We had good dry and warm weather for the following week so I just let the frame hang in my 90 degree garage. Yesterday I assembled the bike and then after riding it all day I decided to wetsand the areas that I want to look sun faded with 400 grit. Heres a B4 picture and the new and I feel improved looking bike.

I also decided to change the handlebars too.
