Some of you have seen the stripes I laid on Rat Rod's dyno this week.

So I figured it was time to show you guys the inspiration for pinstriping.

My 1927 Ford Model T Coupe (in progress). Bought it on ebay several years ago, it's my first build so it's taking me a little while to figure out all the engineering of multiple donor cars to fit one application. Thanks to my Pop's for helping out though!

Body: 1927 Ford Model T
Frame: Home built, 2x3 tubing, 3" Z in front, 15" Z in rear.
Wheels: 1935 Ford V8 Wires
Frontend: 1946 Ford Straight Axle
Rearend: 1946 Ford Banjo w/ Open drive conversion
Steering: 1953 F100 Box, 1946 Column tube, & 1948 Hudson Wheel
Dash: 1949 Ford shoebox, chopped up
Engine: 1976 Chevrolet 350 4 bolt main w/ 2x2 intake and early 40s Holley 2 barrel carbs, Turbo 350
Taillight: 1965 Ford Reverse light Chrome, 1939 Chevrolet Lens
Gauges: Vintage 70s Stewart Warners

Enjoy!

This one is getting a 10" haircut!!! that'll be one of the last things I do, cause it's much easier climbing in and out right now with the tall top.

A 10 inch chop? NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Say it aint so.
I love the look of it now, with so many Rats gettin' wacked, yours would stand out (or should I say "above") the crowd, LOL
Looks awesome Chadman!

Sweet ride! I love the T coupes a lot. Thats really what I wanted to build but went with the 23 fiberglass roadster body. Not a lot of those coupe bodies around anymore. Nothing like havin a top on those rainy days  . Very nice.

Thanks Kenny and Fattroy...

But yep it's getting chopped, it'll be pretty 50s period close except for the 350/350. Everything is from the 50s or 60 so far. Actually even the motor will look like an early 327 so i guess it really will be closer to a 50 to late 50s hot rod.
