its been too cold to paint outside here in kansas city for a few weeks now, and now we're having an ice storm!!! i gotta built a paint booth for these months, thats why my contest bike didnt get done in time, crap! im bummed man! ive had a ton of personal crap to deal with from babies mamas and building is my lil "get away from it all" and i haven't had the time or temperature to do it, deeeep siiighhh!!! theres always next summer!

i always tell myself if things dont go bad once in awhile i wont know when things are goin really good, hang in there eddie, you cant leave us hangin on that build no matter how long it takes !!!

hey eddie who needs paint anyways these are rat bikes after all just look at the ratty truck. i mean 58 plus year old paint took top rat :shock: i feel ya maybe next year we should do the build off earlier so our friends who live in not so warm climates can paint their bikes.

ya know....i really liked how a few pieces for this bike turned out when i used a scotch pad to get the paint off, then scratched the bare metal a lil more uniformly, then clear coated it. maybe the ice is a sign that this should be my "calling card" style of metal finish!!!
