Non-Factory / Homemade racks

I know this has been a topic before, but I would like to see what people have done in order to create cool / unique rear racks on their bikes.

I am about to order a new cruiser... liked this Felt Jetty, but decided against it and am about to order a Worksman. I decided I only liked the Jetty because of the rear rack. I love the design of the rack and the use of a little "wood" on the side. I'd like to create something like this for my Worksman, or find a new rack that could be modified to create the "factory" look of these.

I also like the ones that come on most of the New Belgium cruisers

Front rack, but I like the idea

Any examples or ideas from you masterminds?!?

You can also use old water skis.
