Here is my current and future project. This '76 Sting-Ray has been with me for sometime and will now be given a face lift.

Finally about 90% down to the bare metal. There were three layers of paint on this sucker, finally got down to the original color of Flamboyant Yellow (its like being an archaeologist).
Now for some filler-in-a-can and some fine sanding she will be smoother than an egg on teflon.

at this time, im thinking once i get all the paint off, I will delve into the realm of how to give it a rich but delicate patina.

Not sure how to tackle that yet but thats the current plan

"How To" forum has several threads on how to make patina on bare metal. I was looking for tips on how to add some rust to chrome... which may put me in my grave, but it's what my boy wants, and it's his build.
