I got 2 peddal scrapers.. How can i mount these to my peddals, 7.95 IS Better than ruining my old school schwinn peddals :lol:

Ill order a bunch if some1 does a howto on the mounting.

i have em on my lowrider
you can get them at any skate shop or a vans store in the mall
they have 3m mounting tape on the bottom and also have pre drilled holes
i also have a block of magnesium that i need to do something mischeivious with

go to sporting goods store. there it's called fire starter block. it has a flint on the top edge. it is about 2in long 1/2in thick. 3/4 wide.

if you go this way. DO NOT USE WATER to try to put it out if it catches fire.

exactly where UCWT just said it would be, any sporting goods store maybe even ur local walmart
magnesium powder reacts exothermically (boom) with water btw so yea proceed with caution

What happens is that the Magnesium gets the Oxygen in the water to fuel it's combustion even more. Never throw water on burning magnesium, right Firewalker? BOOM! Those are very cool tho. :mrgreen:

I knew about car fires (especially VWs, I think that they use more magnesium than most cars)getting worse with water, but what if you were to drag a pedal through a puddle? If the pedal was sparking before the water was hit, would it flare up uncontrollably?

i'm thinkin it has to be ingulfed in flames or on fire first. it may a little i guess but nothing like if soaked with water when on fire

I remember hearing long ago that old VW flat fours were made of magnesium...

I knew about car fires (especially VWs, I think that they use more magnesium than most cars)getting worse with water, but what if you were to drag a pedal through a puddle? If the pedal was sparking before the water was hit, would it flare up uncontrollably?

the easy solution if youre concerned would be "dont"
or wait for someone else to do it and see what happens haha
